Loch Morlich, The Cairngorms
We managed to climb some of the Cairngorms today, not much in the way of snow (surprisingly, being September!) A pretty steady walk but quite a lot of sheer drops, would love to have seen some climbers going up the cliffs to give them a sense of scale. Anyway the sun came out at about the halfway point which was nice. I got this one on the way back to Aviemore from the side of Loch Morlich. I used the stones (and oddly, a duck) as foreground interest, I flattened the water with the 10 stop filter didn’t really want to use this as the last few times I’ve seen it, it’s has been like a mirror but the wind kicked up a bit today. I managed to use the filter case to shade the lens during the exposure to cut down on any glare. The Exit info was ISO100, 33mm, f/22 for 60 Seconds.
