Weekend in Amsterdam

I was over in Amsterdam last weekend and they seem quite keen on the wide panoramic shots so I thought I’d do one of the canals. I would have liked to have done some longer exposure stuff, if anything to get rid of the people in shot. As I was tripod-less this 8 shot stitch was just done free hand and stitched using PTGui, I find it a little more flexible than Photoshops Photomerge tool.
The canals and bridges make great subjects and if you get away from the more touristy areas there are some decent shots to get. There’s an area called the 9 Streets (I think) that is great for photos and just to walk about in general, I thoroughly recommend a visit.
