Hello again- Can you help with some background info? I am trying to find out the availability of gas Coleman screw cannisters (c100) on the GR10. I use these on a jet boil stove but I understand they are not comatitable with the GAZ gas o the same size. I would very much like to hear fom you with your views and comments here. Alan

Hello – very informative and interesting blog and of course, very well done.
I am planning to do this next year, but would like to start at the begining of May when the weather may be cooler (may also be wetter..) but can find little comment about what facilities are likely to be around at that time year. Have you any comments on this that might help me? YS Alan

Looking forward to your finished blog but I know how long it takes – I was about a week behind you, starting on June 13 and finishing on July 31st.

Hi Mandy,
We got back yesterday, took us 45 days of walking and about 4 rest days. The Ariage was pretty tough going, we had to take a couple of detours and unfortunately had to hitch for a few miles, we think we missed about 30km of eastwards travel by foot but we didn’t really consider it cheating. The section after Merens Les Vals was quite good but I think our favorite bits were around Cauterets. Anyway I’m doing some of the photos now so might have some up on the site soon, thanks for stopping by!

Hi we last saw you in Cauterets enjoying the civilisation. Hope you manage the last few days you must be almost finished now we really admire your tenacity. We are getting in shape for another walking trip later in the year we can only go where someone is around to carry our bags!!!
