I set up and was pretty happy with my original test shot in terms of composition so I tweaked it a little and put my grads on and it was just a case of waiting for the sun to light up the field. I had envisioned a moody black and white version using a slow shutter to get the sweeping clouds and a little movement in the wheat. However when I got them back I was happy with the standard colour version but I have decided to post both versions and you can make your mind up as to which you prefer. In terms of exposure, the colour version was taken at 16mm, f/16, ISO100, 1/13. I had a hard edged 3 stop ND grad to balance the bright sky and the land.
