Glen Coe

Sunrise over the Isle of Skye

This was taken on the Eastern coast of sky at sunrise, I got out of my tent and was greeted by this awesome view. I could see the clouds were moving fast up the slopes so I knew I didn't have much time, I composed and took about 3 frames then was covered in a thick fog, so the camera was put away. Loch Morlich

The Lonely Cottage

Elgol, Skye

Elgol on the Isle of Skye is one of those places you just have to go at some point to get a few landscape photos, the Cuillin Mountains over the water are just a fantastic backdrop and if the conditions are right it is difficult not to come away with something you are happy with, the flies can be a bit of a handful though! Sandwood Bay, Scotland

Quite a trek from the car park (about 3 miles) but a lovely beach to camp on, very quiet and tranquil but it is pretty much at the tip of North West Scotland, well worth a visit though Aperture: f/11 Shutter Speed: 30 sec Focal Length: 16mm ISO: 100
