We recently provided the wedding photography for Anna and Fraser with the ceremony at St Peter’s in Birstall and the reception at Blacker Hall Farm, which fortunately was only about a mile from where I live, which was handy. Anna and Fraser were friends of a couple of other wedding clients we had photographed a few months ago, so it’s always nice to get a bit of word of mouth advertising. Both the bride and groom were really relaxed, the wedding was super informal “the plan is… there is no plan’ and everyone looked to be enjoying themselves.

The ceremony was really great and St Peters has quite a few unique features which acted as a good backdrop for some of the shots after the ceremony. On we went to Blacker Hall Farm for the reception, there was loads of brick and beams with plenty of cool decorations in keeping with the theme. As the wheat was still out in a nearby field I wanted to get the bride and groom in there for a few photos before in case it started to rain. Had a bit of a mishap with a veil blowing away but I managed to vault the fence and rescue it! Got some nice ones in the field and then let the couple enjoy the rest of the day. All in all it was a great day and we were thrilled to be involved.
I’ll put a couple of photos up now and have the disc sent out tomorrow. If anyone is big on facebook, I now have a page if you want to go and like it that would be great. Congratulations again folks from Carol and I.
