Wedding photography Holdsworth House
We were recently at one of our favourite venues Holdsworth House for the beautiful wedding of Ellie and Rich. We started with a bit of bridal prep at the Shibden Mill Inn (which is also lovely, well worth a visit). It was great to meet Ellie’s parents and the bridesmaids whilst we got a few shots of some of the details in the late summer sun. I always like to get the shot of the bride’s father seeing her for the first time in the dress, always great for photos!
We headed up to Holdsworth house for the ceremony, Rich was very relaxed and everyone was enjoying the day. Tracy at Holdsworth house did a great job as usual in the running of the day. The ceremony was good, everyone looked great and things ran very smoothly. Then everyone went out to enjoy the sun in the beautiful gardens at Holdsworth House. Ellie and Rich had got a good duo to sing and play guitar as guests enjoyed canapes and drinks. They had got a cool skittles type game called Molkky (think it is a Finnish game) which kept folk entertained and was great for photos. There was a large contingent of the guests from the US and they were all fab, well up for photos which we always love. After a few group shots we went and did some relaxed couple shots with the newlyweds, who were both a pleasure to photograph and then everyone went in for the wedding breakfast. The speeches (5 of them!) were all good with plenty of laughter photos! The evening guests started arriving and before we knew it the cake was cut and everyone was up and dancing. Another lovely wedding to photograph as we approach the end of the wedding season. As usual I will post a few images here and on my Facebook page and get the images discs out soon! Congrats again from the both of us and thanks for reading everyone!
